My passion projects, A WonderLandiful Tea Party, and The Jabberwocky are inspired by Alice in Wonderland and reimagines its characters and themes through my own creative lens.

A WonderLandiful Tea Party:

I transformed my bedroom into a whimsical architectural space inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Using real measurements from my room, I reimagined the world of Wonderland with doll furniture, accessories, fake plants, and imagery from the children’s book. I explored themes of identity, curiosity, and transformation through bold colors, symbolic objects like keys and clocks, and distorted perspectives. I also incorporated mixed media elements such as recycled materials and textured surfaces to bring the space to life in 3D. This project allowed me to blend fantasy with personal expression, making it one of my most meaningful creative experiences.

The Jabborwocky:

I transformed cardboard into my own interpretation of the Jabberwocky, bringing the mythical creature to life using layered textures, s-curve silhouettes, and cardboard. Inspired by the original poem’s mysterious and chaotic tone, I focused on creating a sense of movement and menace through the curved and jagged edges and exaggerated features. This hands-on project allowed me to explore storytelling through sculpture and experiment with sustainable materials in a creative, imaginative way.
