ABout me
My name is Hailey Reyes, but most of my friends call me Rey, there are just too many Haileys in the world already! (Just kidding… kind of). I’m a recent undergraduate who completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at the University of Tampa.
As a designer, I’m passionate about visual storytelling, illustration, and creating work that blends personality with purpose. My interests range from K-pop and anime to sustainability and nature, and I often pull inspiration from these themes in both my professional and personal projects. Whether I’m designing digital campaigns, print layouts, or quirky passion projects, I love finding creative ways to connect with people through design.
Artist Statement
I’m a multidisciplinary artist and designer who loves blending storytelling, pop culture, and personal interests into my work. Whether I’m illustrating nature in my own bold style, designing logos for K-pop dance teams, or creating prints inspired by Japanese Gyaru fashion and SKZOO characters, I aim to make art that feels expressive, playful, and meaningful. My work often combines detailed linework, symbolic elements, and mixed media to reflect themes of identity, nostalgia, and creativity. Above all, I create to connect, with both my own experiences and the people who view my work.
